Raf Urban is a French street artist born in the 70s. He grew up in the suburbs of Paris under the influence of the emerging street art culture of the early 80s. The main subjects of his work are women, which is a big source of inspiration for the artist, from soul singer Amy Winehouse, the Pakistani women's rights activist Malala Yousufzai to Angela Davis, a member of the "Black Panthers" a civil rights activist in the United States.
