Asnidy Kiarholi (*1946) is a multifaceted Italian-British artist with a very strong personality. He is an artist experimenter of visual languages, his fame is linked to the reproduction of faces of characters, who have become icons and commonly used objects. Kiarholi is one of the leading exponents of pop art, an artistic movement that uses the expressive codes of advertising and the mass media to probe their impact on contemporary art; artists like Roy Lichtenstein, Claes Oldenburg, Andy Warhol and Jasper Johns belonged to this current.
